Breaking / breakdancing / b-boying is an athletic style of street dance which consists of toprock, downrock, power moves and freezes.

Breaking is set to music containing drum breaks, and incorporates moves from dance, gymnastics, yoga, calisthenics and others. It is a form which requires supreme mental and physical fitness.

Breaking is a part of the Olympics.


Mohit has been doing breaking since 2010. He specialises in flashy power moves and tricks. Mohit won head-spin and flare battles at the 2012 UK Bboy Championship, and head-spin competitions at Breezer Vivid Shuffle 2018. He has set the Indian national record of 33 head-spin rounds.

Mohit has won national titles along with his team. He has conducted workshops at IIT Delhi, IIT Roorkee, IIT Kurukshetra and more. Mohit believes that one should dance freely and with soul. You can follow Mohit at @mohit_magnum.

2)  Attire is comfortable, breathable and stretchy clothing, sports shoes. No jewellery, hair tied and nails trimmed. Bring a water bottle.

3)  Duration is 1 hour and 15 minutes. Please be on time, warmups are important.
