Aerial artists perform aerial acrobatics while hanging from a special fabric. Performers climb the fabric without the use of safety lines, and rely on their training and skill to ensure safety.
They use the fabric to wrap, suspend, fall, swing, and spiral their bodies into and out of various positions. Aerial silks are used to fly through the air, striking poses and figures.
ABOUT AGATA AND MOIRA
Agata and Moira opened their aerial arts studio, Safi Yafar, in Comodoro Rivadavia, Argentina, in 2011 which is still going strong, training both teachers and students. They have fourteen years of teaching experience each.
Agata and Moira studied aerial acrobatics at the Fracassi Academy and under Emmanuel Milina. Agata holds teacher training certifications in yoga, Hatha yoga, therapeutic yoga and Kundalini yoga. Agata and Moira are accomplished fire and belly dancers. Moira studied pilates with Diana Bustamante.
Safi Yafar was created to allow people to recreate themselves and learn dance and acrobatics. They’ve continually performed theatrically. Adults and kids aged 7+ are welcome. Classes are mixed ages, and beginner-friendly.
PRICING
Rs 300 per session
OR
Rs 3000 for our monthly membership which allows you to take any class on the schedule
NOTES
1) Monthlies cannot be extended, refunded, or transferred
2) Attire is leggings and a comfortable, tight-fitting t-shirt. No zippers or jewellery which can damage the silks. Nails trimmed.
3) Class size is limited to 16 on a first-come-first-served basis
4) Duration is 1 hour and 15 minutes. Please be on time, warmups are important.
