Pull out your mats and get ready to do a series of movements that will stabilise and strengthen your core, while mobilising your joints and outer limbs. The exercises are usually done in a specific order, one right after another, increasing in intensity as the sessions progress.
The moves may look simple, but they take a lot of precision and control to do and there’s a strong emphasis on technique. With regular practice, you will get stronger, leaner and more sculpted muscles and gain flexibility. You will also achieve better posture and an overall sense of well-being.
Eesha is a Certified Pilates Trainer and has trained in various forms of body work like dancing, gyrotonics, gyrokinesis, yoga and pilates. Having had over 5 years of teaching experience, Eesha brings a special energy and diversity to her classes, leaving you feeling refreshed as well as thoroughly worked out.
Eesha holds a diploma in contemporary dance from Broadway Dance Centre, NYC; diploma in contemporary dance from Pushing Progress Co., NYC; is a Certified STOTT Pilates Instructor, New Delhi. Formerly a teacher and company dancer at The Danceworx Academy of Performing Arts, she is trained in dance forms like jazz, contemporary, hip hop, ballet, salsa and other Latin dance forms, and was the winner of the All-Asia Salsa Championship, 2009.
