Hooping with Rajni

Rajni is a hoop performing artist and in this class will teach kids basic hula-hooping skills combining them with fun activities. Hooping can be done for fun, exercise or performance. The benefits of hooping for kids include:

Coordination (maintaining stable balance and incorporate flexibility)

Core Strength (strengthening core muscles to keep the hoop at the waist)

Endurance (increasing the amount of time one can continuously hoop without getting tired or short of breath)

Flexibility (gaining range of motion in joints to get rid of a stiff and uncoordinated body)

Attention (learning a new task through focus and practising it to perfection)

Confidence (boosting self-confidence by mastering new moves with time)

The most important reason to hoop is that it is fun and makes us happy. It brings out a spontaneous playful side and boosts the life force inside all of us, which helps us concentrate on our other work and tasks better.
