Sunday October 22nd 11.30 AM – 1.30 PM Rs 700 (early bird) The qualities of a Yin form of practice can be thought of as a slower, cooler and physically quieter practice, whereas a Yang practice is more physically dynamic and warming. During this workshop we will mindfully explore and combine these two contrary forces in order to reconnect with a harmonious sense of well-being. A set mix of soft and slow movements (Qi Gong) along with smooth static poses of Yoga.

Ira Trivedi is a well know yoga practitioner and teacher, and covers yoga for television and print. Her latest book on yoga, “The 10 Minute Yoga Solution” by Harper Collins is just out. Mansi Mahajan is a terrific yogini, teacher, entrepreneur and health practitioner. She has a Masters in Media Production from Griffith University, Australia. Ira and Mansi are doing a series of free yoga sessions in the park, with this sixth one on the 24th at Lodi Gardens at 7.30 AM. Please do come out and join them for this public celebration of yoga!

Sunday June 4th 10.00 – 11.30 AM Cost Rs 700 Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga with postures that are held for longer periods of time. This workshop will introduce you to Yin Yoga, its gentle practice and the art of cultivating the inner awareness of the present moment to focus on being rather than achieving. This second series of Yin Yoga workshop will be focused on the uniqueness of our anatomy, giving special importance to the hip and pelvis area. This area connects our lower and upper bodies and it is a large energetic store of emotions and tension. Carolina will guide students into a Yin Yoga session to release the tension in this key area of our body.
