Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga with postures that are held for longer periods of time.
This workshop will introduce you to Yin Yoga, its gentle practice and the art of cultivating the inner awareness of the present moment to focus on being rather than achieving.
This second series of Yin Yoga workshop will be focused on the uniqueness of our anatomy, giving special importance to the hip and pelvis area. This area connects our lower and upper bodies and it is a large energetic store of emotions and tension. Carolina will guide students into a Yin Yoga session to release the tension in this key area of our body.

Working out with a friend keeps you motivated, helps you understand your own and your partner’s body mechanics better, helps you access deeper stretches after the workout.

Kundalini Yoga uses Asana (posture), Mudra (hand positions), Pranayam (breath), and Mantra (utterance) to strengthen the nervous system, balance the glands, and stimulate the energy reserves of the human system.
This workshop in Kundalini yoga includes kriyas which are a set of exercises/asanas, mantras and breath. It begins to break the patterns or blocks in our bodies where the energy is stagnant leading us to forming a pattern. When the energy flows in a systematic way these patterns change.

Kyogi Wellness is bringing their yoga program to Delhi Rock starting this week, weekday evenings and Sunday mornings. If you’re looking for an athletic and intense yoga style, this might be perfect for you.
Varuna Shunglu has been teaching yoga for eight years, and is a highly accomplished teacher and yogi. She has an athletics and sports background (and used to practice law at the Delhi High Court!), so Kyogi is a complete yogic regimen, with equal parts of strength, flexibility, balance and breath.

Come celebrate International Yoga Day with us at Lodi. Because the 21st is a Tuesday this year, we’re celebrating on the following Sunday, with a morning yoga practice with our favourite yoga teachers.
This year, we’re partnering with Kyogiwellness, so thank you Kyogiwellness for turning up and taking class!
We’ll assemble at 7.30 AM Sunday June 26th at Gate #1 of Lodi Gardens, near the Lodi restaurant, and walk in and find a nice spot to practice. Please bring a yoga mat and a water bottle, be suitably attired.
Please feel free to invite other friends and family members to this. No fees, just show up.
