AcroYoga classes have started!

Posted on

There were so many palpable moments of magic teaching acroyoga formally for the first time! Very different being in front of a group vs the informality of jams and 1:1. Certainly a lot easier when you can focus on one person, vs groups which are off doing their own thing! Major new teaching lesson – teaching spotting is the hardest part! Our first group of students were incredible, and working with the irrepressible and wonderfully warm and capable Mansi Mahajan was just a joy! A very positive experience to be able to pass on glimmers of acro, see acro magic and connection happen. And just the beauty of clean lines, stability, ease and comfort. Absolute acro play and what makes acroyoga such an addictive and constructive practice. […]

Solar Immersion / Goa / Pascal Weis & Chris Loebsack

Hi guys! Doing a courtesy post for acroyoga.org on our group, to let you know about this incredible opportunity.   Solar immersions are difficult, and have serious prerequisites, but if you’ve been wanting to get into acroyoga, and are willing to commit the time and resources for this immersion, plus three solid months of prep, then read on!   We’ve been given an incredible discount, to help encourage acro in India, which runs to about $355 (~26,000 rs), which is a huge 20% off the lowest published early bird rate.   Solar immersions are rare, and only taught by 20 teachers out of the global community of about 1500 teachers, so they never go for prices like these – plus this is likely to be […]

Handstand drills & ATB / Yoga in the park

Posted on

This session is good for beginners or even for people who have found the balance in handstand and want to work on their core strength and refine their line. The idea is to find a good form, develop core strength and shoulder mobility which can support posture like handstands. In partner acrobatics – acroyoga, handstand training is an essential part of the practice for everyone. However for participants these drills can be a good addition to personal practice / fitness regime as drills help in developing core strength and mobility espc in upper body. There will be partner drills involved so it’s safe and fun 🙂 The key elements taught will be: • 15 mins warm up – shoulders and wrist focus • Downward-facing dog […]
